Areas of Interest
Seismic safety of irregular buildings - India falls within the 10 most earthquake vulnerable countries in the world. It is, therefore, very important to make our building design code flawless to protect human lives and the properties. My motivation is to work on practical problems and to help formulate improved design standards. , Sustainable building materials - Incorporation of industrial wastes as supplementary cementing materials is developed to reduce the overall CO2 footprint of the final concrete products. Also, use of different other recycled materials in concrete could help the environment through waste disposal management and natural resource conservations. To increase awareness among builders (thereby increasing the utilization of such alternate concrete in building industry) and to build safe structures it is very important to have proven res
