The 11th Asia Pacific Drying Conference (ADC) will be held in Kolkata, India during February 18-19, 2023. The ADC series of biennial conferences was established in 1997 by Prof. A. Kamaruddin of Bogor University, Indonesia and Prof. Arun S. Mujumdar of McGill University, Canada. It is modelled after the widely acclaimed biennial International Drying Symposium Series (IDS) which was initiated in 1978. The conference venue has since moved to several countries including China (2 times), Malaysia (2 times), India ( 2 times), Thailand, Hong Kong etc.

The 11th ADC in 2023 plans to bring together more than 300 stakeholders, from research organizations, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, industries and professional associations, in a single platform for the exchange and dissemination of ideas and recent research findings on fundamentals and applications of drying. The conference is being organized by the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India with major support from diverse industries in India.

This international conference aims to highlight key issues related to existing approaches of traditional and innovative drying technologies for maximum benefits to drying equipment manufacturers,  processing industries, drying researchers and end users.
